Aipmylo 2012
The installation's setting draws inspiration from Eduard Manet's painting "Olympia." The performance unfolded during daylight hours, spanning approximately four hours. A green moss suit symbolizes ancient beliefs or superstitions that fade from memory yet linger in our consciousness. Another crucial element is a black cat positioned at the installation's entrance, affecting the flow of people within the space and prompting contemplation of potential psychological barriers. As the sun began to set, a growing number of onlookers hesitated to enter the area, marked by a black silhouette and the peculiar scent of funeral wreaths.
